Topic of your thesis
As a rule, we supervise theses whose topics relate to our department's research focus.

- Prevention and early intervention for mental health disorders in childhood and adolescence
- Resilience, protective factors and vulnerability in psychological development
- Attachment and the development of relationships
- Consequences of victimisation and adverse childhood experiences (including children and adolescents in out-of-home care)
- Eating disorders in childhood and adolescence (including anorexia nervosa)
- Fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASD)
- Digital and technology-based interventions in prevention and psychotherapy
- Efficacy and mechanisms of change in psychotherapeutic and preventive approaches

- Adaptation/translation for an adolescent target group and validation of the Domain-Specific Risk-Taking (DOSPERT) Scale
- Disgust in people with traumatic (sexual) experiences
- Adaptation/translation and validation of the Child Loneliness and Social Dissatisfaction Questionnaire (Asher et al.)
- Adaptation of the Mainz Resilience Assessment for children
